‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Season 5 Sneak Peek — The Reyes-Strand Family Gains a New Member

Come fall 2024, 9-1-1: Lone Star returns for Season 5, and according to a new sneak peek, the newly married Carlos (Rafael Silva) and TK (Ronen Rubinstein) will have a new member in their family.

Don’t get too excited — or do depending on your adoration for certain species — because the new family member is not human.

Remember the bearded pet dragon TK acquired as a pet in Season 4? Well, the reptile that scared the living hell out of Carlos is back.

This time around, however, Carlos is on board, but that doesn’t mean the reptile’s shenanigans are over.

The sneak peek begins with the couple sharing a warm hug before Carlos introduces the animal to TK. It appears that Carlos got it for TK after seeing how much TK loved having it.

This marriage is off to a great start, given that they’ve begun compromising already. Carlos can’t stand it but will tolerate it; feeding it is TK’s responsibility.

“It told me it likes to eat live crickets. That’s gonna be your job,” he says. TK agrees without an argument.

They begin brainstorming names, and given TK’s proficiency with making up names (Marlon Blendo, hello?), they’re bound to come up with something soon.

Except, just like in 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4 Episode 12, “Swipe Left,” the reptile disappears.

TK knows he’s responsible for the animal, so he searches for it.

They had settled on Louis but had not decided whether Louis 2 or Louis II was the better option. An opportunity presents itself, but Louis doesn’t answer to any of the names. Did they choose the wrong name?

“I’m never gonna sleep again,” Carlos says, sounding defeated. Is tossing their apartment in order again?

‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Might Be Ending.

It might be the last season, as the show returns for the fifth season.

Recent reports and developments hint at the series being canceled at FOX, a fate similar to the flagship show, 9-1-1.

Reports indicate that the network ignored the cast’s requests for salary increases, which is never a good sign. This pay scruffle led to the exit of cast member Sierra McClain. She won’t appear in Season 5.

Most cast members have begun to say their goodbyes and actively seek their subsequent roles.
