‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Incest Storyline Is a Disaster

A new batch of insufferable white people has arrived in Thailand for a week-long vacation in The White Lotus Season 3.

Like its predecessors, the vacation ends in disaster as everything that has been boiling in their lives comes to a head when they’re supposed to be most relaxed.

Season 3 features a new cast, among them are two brothers played by Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V) and Sam Nivola (The Perfect Couple).

Schwarzenegger plays Saxon while Nivola plays Lochlan.

Since the characters first appeared, it has been clear that something is weird with Saxon. When they shared a room, it became even weirder because Lochlan seemed too interested in his brother’s nude body.

As time went on, it was no longer a question if their relationship was incestuous; it was a question of when.

Saxon was too comfortable speaking about his siblings’ sexuality sexual,ly while the siblings were too docile to push back.

Lochlan would do anything Saxon told him to do, even with the smallest pressure applied.

In The White Lotus Season 3 Episode 5 , “Full-Moon Party,” a drunken night of partying turns into something bizarre, and the brothers kiss — nay make out — on a boat with some girls.

It’s unclear where the arc goes from here, but if they cross that line, it’s bound to turn ugly, just like every other incestous relationship.

Lochlan Might Be the Shooter in ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3

A mass shooting is waiting to happen, as teased in the season premiere. The question has always been who is the killer, who dies, and why.

There is a case to be made for Lochlan being the shooter.

Saxon belittles Lochlan at every opportunity. He mocks his appearance and lack of sexual experience while domineering every moment.

Throughout the season, Lochlan is unable to enjoy his vacation because his brother is always there pushing him to do the next sexually driven thing Saxon thinks Lochlan needs.

Lochlan might also be struggling with his sexuality, where he doesn’t know how to define himself in a house full of such a huge personality.

It does something to a kid to feel invisible and used simultaneously.

“One day, I gonna take you down,” Lochlan tells Saxon after another moment of being ridiculed and belittled.

If the night takes the trajectory teased by that kiss, it might be the final straw and the day arrives quicker than anyone thought.

A confused kid who gets sexually abused by their brother (and a huge brother) must feel violated and it would make sense if he decided to take out his entire family.

It’s not that hard given that Lochlan is from the south so he must be experienced with guns, and his father has a loaded gun that he stole.

Is this the end of a troubled family?

The White Lotus Season 3, Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
